What is Bluetooth ?

The adoption of Bluetooth technology in mobile handsets is widely adopted with over 75 % of all handsets supporting Bluetooth.

Bluetooth in mobile phones allows users to send and receive information like images video or other pieces of mobile content.

Information is sent to all Bluetooth enabled handsets free of charge to the end user.

How does the Zappa Solution work ?

The solution uses the Bluetooth frequency to send content to other Bluetooth enables devices, like Phones and PDA’s.

How does it contact people ?

It contacts people using by reading the capabilitity of the handsets which are in the Zappa server’s vicinity, and then decides if it should send them content.

What kind of content can it send ?

It can send content like, Images, Video, Music and even connect the user to the mobile internet.

Does it cost the end user any money ?

No it is free for the end user, and the solution does not use the carrier or network operator as it contacts the user directly.

Is this not considered SPAM ?

No, the user is asked if they would like to receive the message and we have controls in the system which will not ask the user the same question again if they have refused the first time round.

Is there a limit of how many messages are sent out ?

The solution can reach an unlimited amount of people, and the system has no upper limit to the number of people it contacts. It can contact 12 people at any one time simultaneously.

How can we measure the success of campaigns ?

The Zappa solution is complemented with the Zappa Analytics product which gives a comprehensive set of reports, which are accessed via the web.
